Job Summary

Peter Mac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the nursing team in our Specialist Clinics and Outpatient Pathology services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement in our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing team in Specialist Clinics and Outpatient Pathology services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience
  • Manage resources, including budgeting and staff allocation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Extensive experience in acute care nursing and leadership
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
