**About the role**

The Assistant Project Officer role provides quality administrative support for the Australian Music Examinations Board (NSW) (AMEB (NSW)) program, which includes the collation of data and accurate development of reports, dealing with daily correspondence/feedback/queries, and providing assistance with examiner management processes. The role is required to assist in the evaluation and management of examiner performance and act as one of the key contacts regarding examination issues.

On a day-to-day basis as an assistant in the examination department, your responsibilities will include handling complex and sensitive inquiries and complaints related to examiners, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. You will also be involved in coordinating the recruitment, induction, training of new examiners, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Additionally, you will work on collecting and organising examiner information, preparing reports on their performance and grading statistics to maintain high-quality examining services. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and review of examiner professional development systems, processes, and policies, ensuring compliance with standards. Other duties include providing administrative support, preparing for meetings, updating records and databases, and adhering to proper records management processes.
