**Position details**
- Clerk Grade 5/6
- Full time, Temporary - End date March 2026 (potential for extension or ongoing opportunities)

**About the role**

The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) works with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement. The National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) assesses students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in the areas of literacy and numeracy.

An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Project Officer to work within the NAPLAN team, your role to undertake a range of project research, analysis, reporting and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects.

Utilising your project and administrative experience, you will provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in budget and within the parameters of the project.

Additionally, you will update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant policies and practices, ensuring projects comply with agreed project management methodology.
