The Opportunity
Canopy Growth is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our Commercial team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will implement strategies to generate new sales, manage trade accounts, support our medical field team and support our B2C and B2B platforms. You will enjoy engaging with a wide variety of customers over the phone and face-to-face, building relationships with ease. You will drive new initiatives for business expansion.
**Responsibilities**:
- Storz & Bickel growth sales strategy, investigate the market, develop and implement a key account management strategy to achieve sales growth targets- Work closely with the team to develop new opportunities, including pharmacy outreach, supporting strategies to grow volumes within our medical brands- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers- Assist with the preparation of non-infused & infused strategies, business plans, implementation plans for launching products into the region- Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, exchange of information and resolve issues- Develop and maintain product offers on our B2C & B2B websites, customer engagement and outreach- Develop pricing plans for a range of customer accounts- Develop Salesforce reports to drive insights and targeted business strategies- Develop business plans for the launch of new products within the non-infused portfolio into Australia and New Zealand where permissible- Brand Development, conferences/field work- Monitor industry trends to ensure ANZ strategies remain relevant and provide industry briefings when required- Collaborate with the leadership team in the development of ANZ strategy, briefing and budget presentations to management team- Other duties as required
Experience- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role- Strong customer focus, relationship building- Analytical thinker with strong cost/benefit analysis skills
Other Details
This is a full-time position based in our Notthing Hill, VIC office.
Adhoc field work will be required, a current driver’s license and own car is essential.
