Marketing & Communications Assistant

The **Marketing and Communications Assistant** supports the General Manager of Marketing & Communications in driving team communication and collaboration, providing administrative support, and delivering on key aspects of the marketing and communications function.

To be successful, you will be passionate about building relationships across the business and being a trusted and responsive support across the marketing and communications team. Your role will be varied and include administration to support the General Manager and broader team, web content management, coordinating merchandise and apparel requests, supporting sponsorships, and maintenance of the image library.

You enjoy being organised and working with processes and systems to ensure that our marketing and communications team is delivering on strategic goals and operating plans. You also enjoy planning events and workshops, team meetings and ensuring they can operate effectively and successfully.

Ideally you will have a qualification in marketing and communications at degree level. Previous experience gained in a similar role where you can demonstrate your strong stakeholder engagement skills, reliability and attention to detail, and energy and desire to make a difference. You also have proven experience in delivering marketing and communications initiatives, enjoy writing and can adapt messaging to suit different needs.

- Communicating Information: you convince people, challenge ideas and appropriately articulate information to your audience with strong attention to detail.
- Building Relationships: you thrive on interacting with multiple stakeholders, establish rapport easily and impress people with your ability to tailor your communication to their needs.
- Processing Details: You follow procedures, meet timescales and check things thoroughly.
- Structuring Tasks & Time Management: You manage tasks, uphold standards, are reliable, timely and produce outputs required.
