Brisbane, Australia Legal Aid Full time

Purchase goods and services in accordance with the Queensland Procurement Policy, Legal Aid Queensland purchasing procedures and audit requirements.
- Prepare briefing notes, reports, and other documentation relating to projects, facilities and procurement matters.
- Coordinate the financial processes supporting major projects or procurements including monitoring budgets, generating and matching purchase orders, reporting on project expenditure.
- Maintain a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.

**To Apply**:
Submit a written statement of no more than two A4 pages (using Arial 11pt font), outlining the steps you would take to oversee and manage two simultaneous projects.
- The first project is a minor refurbishment of an existing LAQ CBD corporate office space, to accommodate four additional staff, noting that the space is already nearing capacity. Management has indicated that the area needs to be ready within 8 weeks.
- The second project is a procurement process to purchase a new fleet of 50 task chairs for four regional offices. The timeline for this project is flexible but ideally, needs to be completed within 12 weeks.
- Describe how you would prioritise these projects and what steps you would take to ensure both projects meet their requirements and deliver superior customer service. Please outline your approach to managing timelines, communications with key stakeholders and the applicable procurement steps you would take, to address the challenges of both projects effectively.
