Parks Victoria Inglewood office are looking for a Ranger (Dedicated Aboriginal Position) to join our team to help implement on-ground works and services to conserve environments, protect culture and heritage, manage visitor facilities and support fire and emergency management.

**About the role and your responsibilities**:
The Ranger will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and the position will be accountable for personal performance. The Ranger will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and actively participate in a team environment ensuring that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success. The Ranger will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements in order to ensure superior park management services are achieved at all times.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The incumbent must be available to work weekends and public holidays if required.

- As this position is a dedicated aboriginal role a current Aboriginality Form.

**About the branch**:
The Inglewood Office is located within the North Central District and in the Dja Dja Wurrung Recognition Settlement Agreement area. The office is responsible for managing 4 of the 6 Joint Managed Parks within the RSA area and protects key areas in Kooyoora State Park, Wehla Conservation Reserve, Kara Kara National Park and Paddys Ranges State Park and number of other significant Nature Conservation and Wildlife Reserves..
