**About the role and your responsibilities**:
The Ranger will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and the position will be accountable for personal performance. The Ranger will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and actively participate in a team environment ensuring that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success. The Ranger will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements in order to ensure superior park management services are achieved at all times.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- A tertiary qualification in Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable.
- Plant, chainsaw and machinery operation experience.
- Demonstrated practical skills in the maintenance and operation of machinery, small equipment and tools.
- A current Resume
- A Cover Letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria (KSC) as outlined in the position description.

**About the branch**:
The Inglewood Office is located within the North Central District and in the Dja Dja Wurrung Recognition Settlement Agreement area. The office is responsible for managing 4 of the 6 Joint Managed Parks within the RSA area and protects key areas in Kooyoora State Park, Wehla Conservation Reserve, Kara Kara National Park and Paddys Ranges State Park and number of other significant Nature Conservation and Wildlife Reserves.
