Are you an experienced Healthcare leader who is passionate about the delivery of high-quality patient centred care? If so, we would love to hear from you. GenesisCare is looking for a Practice Manager to join our team at the North Shore Health Hub.

As the Practice Manager you are responsible for the administration and support operations for the clinic, as part of our leadership team you will play a key role in ensuring patients have access to and receive the highest quality Care. This leadership role manages patient support solutions, accounts and back-office operations, critical to your success will be your ability to build and facilitate positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.

We are looking for a leader who is committed to continuous improvement and will showcase their skills and experience in this crucial role, on offer is a full-time position working Monday - Friday.

More specifically you will:

- Lead a team of administration staff including Medical Secretaries, Patient Service
- Officers, Bookings and Patient Accounts Officers to ensure the highest level of patient
- care is delivered at the centre.
- Provide leadership of all patient service functions.
- Lead a team of staff responsible for working with our doctors, allied health practitioners and clinic schedules.
- Ordering stock, clinic room presentation, timely correspondence delivery, and appropriate and timely management of phone calls.
- Manage the team to ensure service provision and patient care is not compromised, providing clinical cover as required and facility management.
- Champion initiatives relating to patient care, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Patient Experience programs.
- Report service performance through audits and metrics to the centre leader to ensure
- service delivery standards are being met.
- Ensure patient invoices are generated and distributed on the nominated day.
- Ensure consultation debtors are managed effectively and in line with the Debtors
- Management policy & procedure.
- Perform a full function accounts receivable role including receipting payments, processing adjustments, and refunds, processing authorised fee changes.
- Maintain and control reminder systems including overdue letters.
- Actively support and champion GenesisCare and specific oncology initiatives to
- drive culture, quality, efficiency and access, taking on a leadership role within
- particular projects where required.
- Develop strong working relationships with all doctors and allied health providers to
- ensure consistent high quality clinic support.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

- Demonstrated effective communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with minimum two years recent experience in a people
management role in practice management.
- Ability to make effective, evidence-based decisions.
- Knowledge of healthcare services and systems.
Proficiency in IT systems including use of Microsoft Office and other health care software
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care
- Innovative and continuous improvement mind set.
