**About the role**:
We are looking for an Advisor - Business Management to lead and manage business improvement projects and initiatives on behalf of Development Services Branch. This role is based in Leederville and will report to the Manager - Business Management.

**What the role will involve**:

- Lead, manage and contribute to business improvement projects and initiatives within scheduled time and budget according to the relevant project management principles and procedures.
- Participate in project initiatives and team activities through knowledge sharing, reporting and performance improvement.
- Inform and regularly communicate with the Manager regarding project progress, impacting issues, drivers, influencing outcomes and identified opportunities.
- Establish, under guidance, the process for the measuring and reporting of project benefits realisation as part of the implementation strategy of each project.
- Ensure activities comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy, procedures and standards
- Undertake analysis and present results through the provision of advice, briefings, presentations or written reports to support decision making
- Monitoring and maintaining records/reports to meet both internal and external requirements

**Key skills and experience**:

- You will have the ability and skills to provide technical and administrative support services
- Considerable knowledge of Project Management principles
- You will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft products
- Considerable knowledge of policies, relevant legislation desirable
