Be a part of transforming Dingley Village's open spaces as a Reserves Response Officer. This Monday to Friday role offers the opportunity to work with a Local Council, ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming nature of the area's parks. Utilise your skills in general maintenance, repairs, and asset management

**About the role**:

- Undertake general maintenance activities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and appeal of Council's open spaces.
- Take ownership of asset repairs and general maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient and timely completion.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration within the team, working across departments to deliver high-quality reserves and play assets.
- Safely and effectively operate a range of mechanical plant and equipment.
- Utilise mobile work scheduling technology and IT systems proficiently.
- Conduct various general maintenance repairs, including path repairs, mowing, rubbish collection, furniture repairs, installation, cleaning, and graffiti removal.
- Operate machinery, equipment, and plant as required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of powered and hand tools.

**About you**:

- Hold relevant qualifications and/or possess demonstrated experience in maintaining open space assets, such as garden maintenance, building/construction maintenance, sports turf maintenance, and soft/hard landscaping.
- Possess certificates in forklift, front-end loader, or backhoe operations, and have practical experience with various hand and power tools.
- Previous outdoor experience is highly desirable.
- Hold a valid MR Driving Licence.
- Ability to pass and maintain a current National Criminal Records Check.
- Valid Right to Work in Australia.
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and health declaration.
- Possession of a valid driver's license in Victoria.
