**What you'll be doing...**

Verizon recognizes it is important for Security Programs to mature in order to meet the cyber risk protection needs of business. As a strategic Principal consultant, the Security Program Executive Advisor is there to help Clients mature and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their security operations. The Security Program Executive Advisor works closely with the Client’s security leadership and business stakeholders to ensure Verizon understands the Client’s risk appetite and how Verizon’s security services align with its business operations. The Client understands its business and unique needs.

The Verizon Security team brings global knowledge and best practices to meet these needs. Together, they can improve the Security Program, identify operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, maximize security ROI, and reduce overall risk to business operations.

You will be a member of the Verizon Security Operations and Program Management (SOPM) team within the Verizon Business Group Consulting Services, Security Assurance business. In the position of Security Program Executive Advisor (‘SPE’) you will be responsible full-time for providing strategic consulting, advisory, and guidance services to Clients regarding their information security program.

The role is exclusively client facing - as the ‘single-point-of-operations-contact’ (‘SPOC’) for the communication and guidance of all service elements and resources, and requires the following primary skills and experience: knowledge of IT and Cyber Security operations contemporary practices, some familiarity with the business and SOC-based service offering, IT and cyber security program operations management, risk management, relationship management, communication skills; global operations management.

**As the Principal Security Program Executive Advisor, you will**:

- Provide guidance, expertise, and strategic advice to [Verizon Client] businesses or individuals. Offering recommendations, insights, and solutions to specific challenges or opportunities.
- Work with Client and Verizon stakeholders to contribute to open actions, escalations, and bring them to a close as needed.
- Ensure proactive and actionable notifications are delivered to the Client within specified timeframes and reported as completed by due date.
- Drive innovation meetings with Client and relevant Verizon stakeholders to discuss new and emerging potential threats, new services, technology improvements, and design maturation.
- Liaise and cultivate relationships with Client stakeholders to identify and reset expectations where appropriate, and adjust expectations within the confines of the existing engagements should changes in business requirements, threat landscape or other similar requirements so dictate.
- Review and prepare digestible, actionable and timely information to hierarchical management and Client stakeholders through recurring reporting, including but not limited to executive summaries, detailed activity reports, slide decks, presentations and the like.
- Lead and participate in presentations to Client stakeholders, including management and executives, on information security topics and on-going engagement activities.
- Participate in meetings with other Verizon Security Stakeholders, Sales teams, and Contract Governance management on a regular basis to review on-going issues, interaction points, activities and challenges for Client.
- Strong ability to articulate the actual cyber security and business risk along with good report writing and client presentation skills are a must. The willingness to travel and a strong ability to learn new technologies and methodologies are required.

**You’ll need to have**
- A degree or four or more year related working experience in Cybersecurity.
- Six or more years Executive C-Level (CISO/CTO/CIO) relevant enterprise consulting and advisory work experience in ANZ region.
- Six or more year's experience in Information and/or Cyber Security operations program design and oversight in a operation lead, consulting, advisory or leadership role.
- One ore more industry security certification(s) such as CISSP, SANS, CISA, CISM.
