Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

At Pyramid Global Technologies, we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Analyst - Qualys Expert to join our team. This role is a critical part of our efforts to protect our clients' digital assets from emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients to design, execute, and refine network and system vulnerability scans in pre-production and production environments.
- Analyze and interpret assessment results, minimize false positives, and serve as a trusted security advisor to our clients.
- Foster a deep understanding of client security strategies, goals, objectives, and capabilities.
- IDentify client vulnerabilities and communicate updates on outstanding issues related to Vulnerability Management Services.
- Present guidance on Vulnerability Assessment Scanning, False Positive Validation, Compliance Scanning, scan profile creation, and policy development.
- Develop effective mitigation strategies for system administrators, owners, and IT support staff, focusing on reducing technical and business risk.
- Establish and report enterprise-level metrics for vulnerabilities and remediation progress.
- A strong background in security threat analysis, enabling you to assess risk levels and determine urgency in remediation.
- Proficiency in common network and system vulnerabilities, networking principles (OSI Model, routing, TCP/IP), Windows and Linux operating systems, and basic administration.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a geographically distributed environment, setting up scanning profiles, conducting routine scans, and overseeing remediation efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Qualys.
