This role is for an Intelligence Analyst within the Financial Crime Intelligence team.

Specifically, this role will act as a specialist on due diligence reviews of our Corporate and Institutional business clients, with a strong curiosity and ability to delve into the financial crime risks and challenges within the industry. Primary responsibilities will involve dedicated and detailed ongoing and enhanced customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and active communication and collaboration with multiple teams to achieve the right decisions and a seamless client experience.

What will your day look like

**Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)**:
Prepare high quality, targeted due diligence reports to be shared with the business on related AML/CDD risks presenting in high risk profiles. Reports will provide a focused risk assessment with recommendations for further control management and risk mitigation as necessary.
Support delivery of industry-level insights that help manage the Institutional Financial Crime Risk profile, and influence control and process design enhancements. Insights provided will directly enable identification of systemic and thematic issues requiring controls uplift.
Identifying and driving change initiatives with tangible benefits for the functions
Support leadership to drive a culture of openness and continuous improvement
Perform in-depth, enhanced customer due diligence reviews on complex, high risk clients in accordance with compliance policy; critically analyse customer and transactional information to form a risk-based assessment.
Supporting and building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders cross-divisionally.
Proactively manage risk, meet all policy and compliance requirements, perform controls and adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role
