The opportunity
We have an opportunity for an Intelligence Analyst, to join the Intelligence and Insights team and provide high level intelligence and reporting capability to the Regulatory Services division and its stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Intelligence Analyst, this role is responsible for the collection and dissemination of gambling information acquired by VGCCC, identifying and evaluating emerging gambling trends, including analysis work in relation to anti-money laundering (AML). Outcomes of this work include providing recommendations that have a focus on harm minimisation and which are based on data driven assessments that are underpinned by quantitative, qualitative and statistically based reports. The Intelligence Analyst as part of their role is also expected to prepare high calibre and insightful briefs for senior management and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Analyse quantitative and qualitive information to identify any suspicious patterns, within regulated entities in the gambling industry.
- Assist with the planning, research and development of intelligence assessments and prepare complex reports, including analysis papers, project proposals and briefings to senior management.
- Engage with key internal and external SME's on matters associated with gambling and AML to ensure the adequate regulatory response is implemented and key knowledge on such matters is retained within the VGCCC
