Here at the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) we have an opportunity for a Principal Intelligence Analyst, to join the Intelligence and Insights team. The Principal Intelligence Analyst will provide high level intelligence and reporting capability to the Regulatory Services division and its stakeholders, whilst guiding the day to day activity of the team. In this role you will demonstrate strong communications skills, initiative in rapport building, gap and opportunity analysis, intelligence and critical thinking skills. The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. **The opportunity**

Reporting to Manager, Intelligence and Insights, this role is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of operational activities, including the collection, preparation and dissemination of gambling intelligence acquired by VGCCC, and day to day direction of the analyst team.

The Principal Intelligence Analyst will be required to identify and evaluate emerging gambling trends and to provide recommendations based on analytical assessments of data, environmental scanning, and other information assets within the VGCCC. As part of their role the Principal Analyst is expected to leverage advanced skills including statistical analysis to prepare intelligence products intended for key stakeholders.
