The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia's premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the dramatic arts.

Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a Centre of excellence in education and training.

NIDA is unique in the world for its practice-based and industry-relevant training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.


The Opportunity


The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring NIDA Corporate's Sydney operations team is well managed and the administrative aspects of programs are efficiently delivered.

A collaborative and supportive team management style is essential to the success of this role.

The position will foster innovation and continuous improvement relating to operations across NIDA Corporate - providing guidance, resources, and support, engaging with external departments/groups as required to achieve internal department initiatives.

This includes the introduction of new technology and software enhancements, ensuring staff are adequately trained when they are introduced.

**Requirements

About You**To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in arts management, business or education and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience in the setup and operation of camera and AV equipment is a essential for this role.
