**Description

The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia's premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the dramatic arts.

Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a Centre of excellence in education and training.

NIDA is unique in the world for its practice-based and industry-relevant training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.


The Opportunity


Based at NIDA Melbourne, Southbank, the primary purpose of this 3 day per week role is to provide coordination of logistics including venues and catering, equipment and resources associated with the delivery of all courses and activities offered under NIDA Open and NIDA Corporate in Melbourne and other locations as requested.


The role will involve a high level of customer service ensuring participants' enrolments are handled efficiently and queries are responded to in a timely manner.

The role is also responsible for delivering AV and technical support for NIDA Open and NIDA Corporate courses based in Melbourne, including camera setup and operation where necessary.

This role will also provide broad administrative and venue support to NIDA's Melbourne-based team which includes participant communications, venue bookings, preparing course materials and data entry.

This position will require availability between the hours of 8am - 5.30pm and occasionally on weekends.

**Requirements

About You**It is also essential that you have the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions while being willing to take initiative where appropriate.

Having valid Working with Children Check is a must for this role.
