Host/Havas is on the hunt for an awesome Digital Content Strategist to join our Sydney-based agency.

We’re after a brilliant Digital Content Strategist to join our growing Strategy team.

Job Description:
As part of a broader Strategy team you’ll work closely with account service, data, UX and digital teams on existing clients and some new business pitches.

General strategic areas we’d like you to be comfortable in are:

- Clients feel comfortable that you will have a considered and articulate point of view on their business, they would describe you as strategically indispensable.
- You are a strong partner to the account director on the business and are as capable as they are in building client trust and relationship.
- You can write and deliver a presentation that makes the complex simple. It will be well structured, signposted and robustly supported. You’ll be able to deliver it confidently.
- You are focused on effectiveness and therefore competent in research, analytics and reporting.
- You are a self-starter and look to lead strategy rather than wait to be asked.

Capabilities wise, the right person would:

- Have a sense of curiosity and interest in understanding business problems and developing digital strategy solutions to address them.
- Comfortably work as part of a team but also be willing and able to strategically develop a content strategy end-to-end.
- Be adept at developing content strategies targeted at driving traffic, and engagement, generating leads, delivering sales, retaining customers, building brand awareness, and/or hitting other key client metrics.
- Have a solid understanding SEO, content development, keyword research, information architecture, distribution, and measurement to effectively tailor content to reach audience personas.
- Have had some exposure to working with data analysts and clients to create CRM plans and segmentation strategies, optimising plans based on results, analytics and data.
- Have had some exposure to working to planning, developing and implementing social media strategy.
- Broadly understand the role, challenges and opportunities Martech platforms play in delivering content.
