The Payroll Specialist is critical to making this happen and will ensure that payroll processing for ANZ is optimised and compliant against local regulatory requirements and ANZ policy. You will work closely with onshore and off-shore payroll teams to ensure the payroll is compliant, effective & efficient. Some of the responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include:
Understand what good customer experience looks like, and take personal responsibility and specific actions to deliver this
Contribute to ANZ’s delivery payroll in a timely, accurate and compliant manner
Have a complete and thorough understanding of payroll, including but not limited to; Terminations, payroll reconciliation and case resolution
Effectively communicate with a vast array of employees, and both internal and external stakeholders
Respond to and accept change flexibly, positively and openly
Consistently drive & improve payroll processes and employee experience

**Role Location**: Melbourne, Docklands

**Schedule**: Full-time, 40hrs/week

**Role Type**: Permanent

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven payroll experience, including payroll for a large company (minimum 5000 employeeson the payroll), ideally with end to end payroll knowledge
Your payroll experience would include accountability for accurate payroll delivery
Deep understanding of generating accurate termination quotes, payroll validation and qualityassurance
Knowledge of AUS/NZ Payroll legislation - superannuation, tax requirements, EBA's
