Payroll Specialist

Our Payroll team who was recently crowned the Australian Payroll Association Payroll Team of the Year 2023 for their exception teamwork, seamless coordinator and shared commitment to accuracy and compliance.

As a Payroll Specialist, you play an important role in ensuring that all our store, support centre and fulfilment centre employees are paid correctly and on-time, you will support a portfolio across our business the Country Road Group. 

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual with high attention to detail and accuracy in processes, we are looking for curious minded and passionate payroll professionals to be part of our journey as we continue to drive and transform the Payroll function.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in a high-volume payroll function, preferably within a retail environment
  • Experience with PayGlobal or Empower payroll systems will be highly regarded
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including V-look ups and formulas 
  • An appreciation for and ability to interpret Retail/Industry Award and EBAs
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with customer service ethos
