- I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced travel industry professional to join a travel company as their Group Travel Manager within their corproate / sport / mice division.
- Extremely efficient with all aspects of group travel
- Lead and manage a small team
- Pitch and secure new business
- Identify leads and opportunities
- Devise, contract and structure new group bookings
- Practice in anticipating problems and proposing solutions
- Highly organized and with superb attention to detail
- Ability to present internally and externally to key stakeholders and decision makers
- Sourcing and negotiating group fares with airlines

**Experience Required**:
** A minimum 5-10 years experience working in the travel industry, ideally within groups and corporate travel**
- **Direct experience in booking and managing group travel itineraries using a GDS**
- Be a team player committed to company vision
- Have an absolute passion for the world of travel and delivering outstanding customer service
- A personality that thrives on detail and accuracy, ability to see problems before they arise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- High level computer proficiency and willingness to learn new programs
- An ability to confidently deal with and support various personalities
- A mature attitude with initiative and a commitment to job ownership
