Suncorp Group have a Full Time Permanent opportunity for a Claims Officer to join our Sydney office. The purpose of the role is to provide market leading proactive claims customer service to Commercial Insurance customers and intermediaries in relation to Motor Claims.

**What you’ll do**
- Inbound and outbound customer, supplier and Broker calls relating to Commercial, Fleet and Leasing claims
- Proactively keep customers, intermediaries and claims stakeholders fully informed
- Resolve customer / intermediary issues and complaints
- Attending Client Meetings and develop relationships with Fleet clients
- Case Manage Claims in a proactive customer focused manor
- Provide a key relationship/mediation function for Fleet clients at time of claim
- Negotiate with Brokers on settlement, strategy and claim outcome
- Adopt a customer focus in the delivery of internal /external services
- Monthly Client Reporting

**What you’ll bring**
- A proven record of providing excellent customer service
- Exceptional listening and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers, intermediaries and key partners
- Demonstrated history of taking ownership to meet customer / intermediary needs with a sense of urgency and enjoy working in an empowered environment
- Strong problem solving and resolution capabilities
- Confidence in negotiating and decision making
- Ability to interpret complex information and respond by developing appropriate actions
- Previous experience processing motor claims desired
