**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for a Service Coordinator at our Merrylands location. We offer a permanent full-time position with a pay rate of $46.39/hour + superannuation + salary packaging, 5 weeks' leave, and insurance benefits.
**Role Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading teams in the disability sector.
- Experience with complex and challenging behaviour support.
- Previous experience building effective relationships with members of various communities, including A&TSI and CALD communities.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing NDIS plans
- Experience working with people with disability and their support networks
- Demonstrated experience in providing support using enablement and strengths-based approaches.
**Typical duties might include**:
- Build capacity and implement all supports in a participant's NDIS plan
- Report back to the NDIA on the outcome and goals, as required
- Coordinate support for individuals and families within their homes and in the community.
- Collaborate and liaise with internal and external service providers.
- Have a demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and experience managing funded plans.
**Pre-Employment Requirements**:
- Valid working rights
- A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working with Children Check NSW & Blue Card QLD
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
