Specialist Ndis Support Coordinator

Lighthouse Health is an established NDIS registered provider that is currently seeking an experienced Specialist NDIS Support Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team.
This will be an in-person (flexible) role located at our clinic in Merrylands, Sydney on a full-time capacity, with work hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Referrals will be from across the Sydney region.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years' experience in a Support Coordination NDIS role.
- Qualifications in a relevant allied health or community services field such as psychology, community services, or mental healthcare.
- Ability to provide level 3 specialist support coordination services for clients with complex needs and complex challenges.
- Prior coordination experience working alongside people with a diverse array of disabilities and support needs.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the disability and community sectors within the context of the NDIS.
- Possess computer literacy and the ability to utilise hardware and software relevant to performing the role.

**This role will involve**:
- Developing and delivering information to NDIS participants that is easy-to-understand and relevant to their specific needs.
- Building relationships and communicating effectively with team members, clients, and organisational stakeholders.
- Researching, coordinating, and managing complex support requirements to meet the client’s individual needs.
- Helping NDIS participants understand their plan and making recommendations to pursue services that are of good value and that align with their unique goals and objectives.
- Coordinating services for our clients in collaboration with members of our multidisciplinary clinical and support work teams, seeking alternative service providers when necessary.
- Supporting clients to achieve balance within dignity of risk, choice, control, and safety within their services.
- Complying with NDIS legislation, standards and guidelines, alongside organisation policies and procedures.
