**The Company**

Having a history dating back close to 70 years, this global business is the integral Supply Chain specialist to one of the world’s most famous names in the food industry. They have over 650 staff in Australia with more than 10,000 staff globally.

They are currently going through some transformational HR change with a new leadership team in place who are dedicated to partnering with people and leaders to grow and develop an already outstanding business.

It’s a great time to join the organisation and be a key person in the HR Leadership team. This position offers workplace flexibility with a hybrid model with the office based in Wetherill Park.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this is a strategic and analytical position where you’ll be looking at the current state of Payroll and Time & Attendance systems and how it’s affecting the business. We want your expertise in order to help make recommendations about the way forward.

You’ll have a team of 3 handling the operation processing of Payroll and you’ll be able to utilise their extensive experience in the business to accelerate your understanding of the current processes. There are 3 main Enterprise Agreements in place for staff, so we need your experience in volume payroll services for Enterprise Agreement/Award interpretation and shift environments. Sage Meridian is the platform here.

Another part of the role is all about HR Analytics - pulling data, creating dashboards for reporting and having high level discussions with the local and global Leadership teams.
- Tasks and duties will include:_
- Leading the team and make sure the weekly payrolls are on time and accurate - with the Enterprise Agreement/Award interpretation and shift environments as mentioned above
- Developing a suite of HR metrics to better enable payroll or HR systems to collect the data for accurate and efficient reporting
- Being the Sage Meridian system expert, ensuring the payroll solution is optimised to reduce manual actions and ensuring all data is maintained correctly
- Developing, planning, and conducting training for managers and employees in relation to HR/Payroll systems.
- Ensure company compliance with legal obligations related to payment of wages in accordance with award, EBA and statutory obligations, and payroll related statutory taxation requirements

**About You**

You could be looking to step up from a team lead role into a more strategic position or coming from a similar sized national business wanting to be part of a transformational HR journey with a large global business with strong leadership.
- To be successful in this role you will need:_
- Experience in volume payroll services for Enterprise Agreement/Award interpretation and shift environments - preferably organisations of 500+ employees
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with sound financial and business acumen
- Thorough knowledge of ANZ employment and relevant taxation laws, previous general ledger experience, leave provisioning and of course high-level numeracy and attention to detail
- An eagerness to take ownership of the HR Analytics and lead a low-maintenance, experienced team
