Boomi Integration Lead

We have been engaged by a client of ours to assist in sourcing an experienced
**Boomi Integration Lead** to join their ERP program for an initial 12mths with view to extend - it's expected that this will be an onsite role of 4 days a week.
**Skills**:
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles and the ability to design scalable and efficient integration solutions that align with the overall IT infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge of various integration technologies, platforms, and tools, including a deep understanding of integration patterns, APIs, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, middleware, and data mapping.
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance and HR systems (ideally ERP-specific).
- Strong end-to-end team and project leadership skills, including experience in Waterfall and Agile delivery methods and techniques (e.g., daily stand-ups, prototyping, sprints, retrospectives), detailed ‘hands on’ day-to-day management of workstreams, as well as managing teams to drive highly strategic and transformational initiatives within complex organisational environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver detailed reports, briefings, and presentations to a variety of audiences, as well as a strong ability to converse with stakeholders at all levels of an organisational hierarchy (including C-suite and senior management).
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including superior skills in managing complex stakeholder interests and expectations, strong capability of getting stakeholders to agree and approve on complex deliverables, as well as the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of an organisational hierarchy.
**Experience**:
- 8-10yrs of experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions for complex Finance and / or HR systems (ideally ERP-specific), including conducting integration impact assessments, creating integration designs (both high-level and detailed), defining testing approaches for integration, and planning and execution for system decommissioning.
- Strong experience managing complex integration projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and on-time delivery within agreed budget.
- Expertise in implementing cutting-edge integration concepts and technologies, including Boomi, cloud-native integration, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), microservices architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Domain-Driven Design, to create cohesive and scalable solutions that enhance system interoperability, flexibility, and overall performance.
- Experience in leading large-scale Technology Change Programs through delivery and transition to business-as-usual arrangements
- Prior experience in end-to-end software implementation such as designing business solutions, configuring system setups, integrating systems, migrating data, conducting comprehensive testing and seamless transition to production systems is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with implementing multiple ERP software suites is preferred (e.g. Oracle, Workday).
**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in computer science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent (and extensive relevant experience).
- Preferred certifications
- Dell Boomi Certified Professional, TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
