**The role**: Working closely with and reporting to the Applications Manager, you will provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
An important aspect of this role involves maintaining and managing effective working relationships and engaging with other key operational teams.
Are you right for this role?To be successful in this role, you will have the ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management
- Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment (SFIA: SLMO Level 4)
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Ability to work as a Technical Application Specialist within an Agile Team or a Waterfall structure
- NET Framework - Visual Basic.NET and C#
- Windows Services
- REST API
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
- Tooling
- Visual Studio Code
- Microsoft SQL Server
- ALM Tools TFS / Git / Jira
- CI Servers (TFS / Jenkins)
- Cerner foundation and CCL intermediate Certification are highly desired (or similar PL/SQL experience)
- Previous experience working with one of the below systems is preferred:

- Cerner User Provisioning Automation
- Cerner MPages (JavaScript/HTML/CSS)

**Specific Working Conditions**:

- This position may be required to work at different sites.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 (Health Employment Directive No. 12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
