Responsible for development and creation of all social media channels focusing on the resorts social media objectives. Promote awareness of brand experiences and activities internally and externally. Develop marketing materials and assemble information (e.g. brochures, promotional materials, fact sheets) for promotion. Make updates to property website and outlet websites and monitor external websites for accuracy on a weekly basis.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Social Media
- Monthly Calendar creation planning aligning with brand and positioning strategy for hotel and destination. You will be responsible for telling the stories of the hotel through social media, ensuring that the monthly calendar is robust in telling stories, informing and inspiring guests. You will work with the different departments throughout the property to ensure that the goals of the hotel are being met throughout all owned social media channels including Instagram x 3 (Resort, Citrique Restaurant and Spa by JW), Facebook x 4 (Resort, Citrique, Chapter & Verse, Misono) & LinkedIn.
- Copywriting, content selection and content planning to tell the story of the hotel whilst creating a cohesive feed
- Upload monthly content calendar via Marriott approved software, ensuring the entire month’s content is uploaded before 20th of each month.
- Creating and designing daily ad hock social stories that are on brand and informative for reactive sales.
- Content creation including photography and videography and Instagram reels.
- Ensure that content is always up to date and relevant, advising when new content is needed.
- Ensuring that information across all social media channels is up to date and accurate.
- Creating Facebook events and offers for all Resort events and promotions.
- Influencer engagement and user generated content engagement with appointed PR agency and departmental communications.
- Always on social media presence of experiences and activities.
- Analysis of social media analytics, and reporting monthly with end of month Social Marketing report.

Marketing
- Co-ordinates design and printing of promotional collateral as directed by Marketing Manager.
- Assists with other marketing co-ordination and administration as required.
- Arrange internal signage and promotional flyers.
- Communicating with other departments as needed for operational and promotional updates.
- Support photoshoots when required by Marketing Manager.
- Updating Marriott programs and third party directories with Resort offers, promotions and implementations.
- Assist with coordination of media and PR agency.
- Development of fortnightly eDM distribution.
- Supporting other marketing initiatives when required by Marketing Manager.
- Assist with managing external digital marketing copywriter.
- Prepares reports and presentations at request.
- Communicate with other internal departments and external agencies when required by Marketing Manager in their absence.
