Broker Relationship Manager

**What you get to do
This is a key role within Athena, the position is a office based role responsible for proactively managing relationships with brokers in regional areas and states where we do not have a BDM on the ground (SA/WA/NT), Key tasks will include:
- **Representing Athena in the broker channel - **attending digital events and engaging brokers within the portfolio via digital channels
- **Manage relationships with aggregator state leadership and sales team within your portfolio**:
- **Internal decision making **- contributing to discussions in Athena about opportunities, investment decisions
- **Build effective relationships with brokers - **via regular webinar and phone conversations and responsive support via digital channels, Engaging brokers who prefer the digital support model over the face 2 face engagement
- **Controls - **Responsible for adhering to broker distribution specific controls
- **Risk events - **Responsible for resolution of risk events working with line 1 risk management resources
- **Policy - **work with Cyber, Tech, Risk, and other functions to get to effective policy outcomes
- **Platform - **play a key role in setting the vision and requirements for the platform to achieve goals in broker by collating broker feedback for the internal teams
