**The Opportunity**

This global organisation is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the fintech sector, specialising in delivering cutting-edge software solutions that empower their clients to thrive in the digital age. They are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering leader to take ownership of the Cloud & DevOps practice and drive security. Strong Azure background is essential.

**Key Experience & Skills Required**:

- Demonstrated experience managing an Azure cloud environment
- Strong security background and process. Experience working in regulated environment is desirable (e.g. ISO27001 and SOC2 TYPE II)
- ARM, Bicep, & Powershell experience
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of cloud infrastructure and operations
- Management of costs associated with the IaC systems/components
- Experience leading high-performing teams
- Thoroughness, attention to detail and procedure
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate with C-suite stakeholders, both internal and clients
- Be calm under pressure when resolutions are needed
