Job Title: Head of Cloud and Information Services, APAC

At SAS, we're seeking a seasoned IT leader to drive our Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division in Asia Pacific. As the Head of Cloud and Information Services, APAC, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of corporate IT and SAS Managed Cloud services across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of ~100 corporate IT and SAS cloud service delivery professionals across the AP region.
  • Provide oversight and direction for all IT services provided in AP, ensuring adoption of best practices in cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, including Sales Leaders, Customer Success, and PSD.
  • Handle external customer escalations for SAS Managed Cloud, working directly with customers and internal partners to resolve problems.
  • Provide regional leadership, communicating the IT vision, setting local expectations, and aligning with global initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and excellence within the CIS team in AP.
  • Regularly communicate corporate objectives, goals, directives, and policies, creating a clear vision and positive, goal-oriented environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of twelve years in a senior leadership role in information technology, including eight years in a formal manager role.
  • Proven experience in a regional leadership role within IT Cloud Services & Delivery, with experience in hosted managed services preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and their application in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with regional regulations, compliance requirements, and cultures in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex global projects and diverse teams.
