**About the role**
As Traffic Management Officer, you will be part of the Works Engineering team and assist in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic within Ipswich. Your main focus will be on planning, coordinating, and implementing traffic management strategies.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver traffic management plans and solutions
- Provide technical support and advice on traffic management issues
- Facilitate the safe and efficient movement of traffic during roadworks and events
- Transform traffic management practices through innovative solutions

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant professional qualification and/or substantial equivalent experience in traffic management or a related field
- Current Queensland C Class Queensland driver’s licence
- Experience in developing and implementing traffic management plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks

A pre-employment medical is required for this role (including drug and alcohol testing).
**About the benefits**
This is a permanent part time (3 days per week) position with a salary commencing at $100,533 (pro rata) plus superannuation of 12.5%.
