About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Officer to join our dynamic Works Engineering team in Ipswich. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic within the city.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing traffic management strategies, delivering traffic management plans and solutions, providing technical support and advice on traffic management issues, facilitating the safe and efficient movement of traffic during roadworks and events, and transforming traffic management practices through innovative solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will require relevant professional qualification and/or substantial equivalent experience in traffic management or a related field, a current Queensland C Class driver's licence, experience in developing and implementing traffic management plans, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

This is a permanent part-time (3 days per week) position with a salary commencing at $100,533 (pro rata) plus superannuation of 12.5%. We offer a range of benefits, including a positive workplace culture, work-life balance, diversity and inclusion, learning and development opportunities, health and wellbeing initiatives, and leave options.
