About the Company

This is a highly experienced and respected consultancy working with and delivering advice to clients in the commercial property sector. Headquartered in Sydney, with regional offices around the country, they are part of a larger, independent property advisory group.

The Role

The Associate Director role reports to the Managing Director and oversees the delivery of the business in Victoria, however there may be a requirement to collaborate across other parts of the business. In this role you will work with senior colleagues to establish strategic goals and be responsible for ensuring that technically suitable solutions are delivered to clients through established processes and continual improvement.
- Manages quality assurance and technically suitable outcomes
- Evaluates opportunities and develops proposals to meet project requirements
- Ensures that proposals are technically achievable and appropriate to client needs
- Develops strategy reviews, business plans, evaluates and monitors process efficiency
- Assists in setting strategic operational goals and performance targets
- Maintain competitive advantage - industry developments, new technology, standards
- Projects a positive image of the organisation to team members, customers and industry
- Participates in the recruitment, training, motivation and line management of team members
- Provides advice and guidance to team members in the execution of their roles
- Identifies inefficiencies, updates and improves existing procedures
- Ensures client requirements are understood, conveyed, monitored and delivered on time
- Regularly reviews technical quality of work and completed projects to measure performance

Skills and experience
- Experience of leading a technical team - hands on
- Client interface and business development
- Asset Management experience
- Consultancy or operations background
- Experience of portfolio building
