**About the Organisation**:
Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) was established in 1971 as Victoria's environmental regulator. **About the Role**:
The Environment Protection Authority is currently recruiting various Permissioning Officers across the Permissioning Permits unit. In these roles, you will use your initiative to prioritise tasks and monitor workflow in managing registrations, issuing permits, and accredited consignor appointments under the _Environment Protection Act 2017_ and regulations.

**Duties**:
To be successful in this role you will be required to (not limited to):

- Work collaboratively with others to ensure accountability and delivery of Permissioning decisions within statutory timeframes.
- Model positive behaviours and support colleagues in their work.
- Support the Permissioning Unit to implement EPA’s Permissioning framework.

**Skills and experience**:
Here are the types of experience, qualifications, and qualities we are looking for:

- Holds a relevant tertiary degree, postgraduate qualification, or equivalent relevant experience within a science, environment background, or related fields. (desirable).
- Broad understanding of the Environment Protection Act 2017 and regulations (desirable).
- Experience and ability to be an influential and effective team member.
- Ability to use your critical thinking skills and experience to determine the best solution for a problem or complex situation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
