Opportunity to learn & specialise in workers compensation specialist role.
- Hybrid work arrangement - 2 days in office Melbourne CBD
- Salary $85,000 - $95,000 + Super
Currently working exclusively with a claims service provider in Melbourne to find their next Eligibility Officer. Looking for people who are either experienced in workers compensation, general insurance, or experienced within a similar role where providing decision outcomes within set time periods is a part of your role.
You will be working amongst a team who are passionate about working to a legislated timeframe and providing a clear outcome to external stakeholders.
This is a permanent full-time role working in the office 2 days a week based in the
**Melbourne CBD.**
**The role**:
- Be the first point of contact for claims and determine liability.
- Manage a portfolio of both physical and psychological claims.
- Work within Work Covers legislated requirements.
- Collect and document medical and circumstantial information correctly.
**Benefits**
- Salary (experience dependent): $85,000 - $95,000 + Super

**About you**
- An experienced case manager with around 2 + years of experience is preferred, or experience in a similar role where providing decision outcomes within set time periods is a part of your role.
- Have a genuine, caring nature that puts stakeholders at the heart of what you do, showing empathy in all circumstances.
- An organised person who demonstrates strong time management skills and prioritisation.
- A true team player who supports peers and loves helping others.
