**THE ROLE**
As part of our diverse team based in **Newcastle**, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.
The purpose of this role is to pro-actively and effectively manage claims to make a positive impact on someone’s life every day.
This will be a **Permanent Full Time** position based in the **Newcastle King St** office, with flexibility to work from home.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare and implement strategies regularly within timeframes to achieve the optimum outcome and minimisation of claims costs
- Ensure claims files are accurately and professionally updated on a regular basis
- Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policy
- Adopt a service-orientated approach that is focused on early intervention and the interests of all stakeholders
- Tailored and empathic delivery of adverse outcome to all stakeholders, with a solution focus

- Demonstrated experience in customer service/retail/hospitality with a passion for helping people.
- An empathetic, resilient, and motivated approach to provide customer centric support
- A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organisational and coordination skills
