Cloud Technology Sales Specialist

A Technology Sales Specialist role in IBM Cloud means a career where you're leading prospective clients towards IBM Cloud Paks and Red Hat OpenShift products. It means you'll be directly impacting their adoption of next-generation hybrid cloud platforms to develop, run and manage workloads of some of the worlds most influential enterprises and brands.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Cloud Technology Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Portfolio Management: Manage a client portfolio, highlighting IBM's technical and business value.
- Solution-Selling Skills: Utilize solution-selling skills to identify decision makers, qualify opportunities, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Sales Process Oversight: Oversee the entire sales process, from RFI/RFP responses to meeting KPIs, with a focus on new business and account expansion.
- Collaboration with IBM Sales Network: Collaborate with IBM's sales network to execute effective sales campaigns and drive pipeline growth.
Note - due to client requirements Australian Citizenship is required to be eligible for this role
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Complex Multi Product Tech Sales Success: Demonstrate a proven track record of success in complex technology sales (IaaS/PaaS), with a focus on Public Sector (Federal Government) clients.
- Business Acumen: Exhibit a strong understanding of business operations and financial benefits related to technology solutions, ability to translate complex technology solutions into tangible business outcomes.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess strong, persuasive communication and presentation skills.
- Consistent Target Achievement and High Performance: Maintain a track record of consistently achieving multi-million dollar targets, showcasing high performance, and challenging self and others to consistently deliver results.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Value Demonstration: Showcase a track record of experience illustrating how technology solutions deliver tangible operational and financial value at all organizational levels (training on IBM's Cloud offerings will be provided).
