About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and services based on the OpenStack cloud computing platform.

  • Building and implementing Private cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Private Cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Automating and infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Ansible and Satellite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with other teams, including OpenShift, Data Centre Facilities Management, application, and monitoring teams.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to others.
About the Team

The successful Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be part of a supportive team within the HiTech Group, working on exciting projects and contributing to the company's success.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Linux administration and OpenStack is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of primary technologies, including Python, Red Hat Satellite, Linux, GIT, and Prometheus.
Benefits and Remuneration

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $75-$100 per hour, depending on experience, as well as a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options.
