- About The Role:
- The Product & Commercial Team deliver competitive and sustainable product offerings and propositions across the Australian market through providing the data, insights and expertise across pricing, commercial and product capabilities. The team are ultimately accountable for the optimisation of our gross margin across our product offerings and work closely with the wider business to carefully balance this priority with acquisition, retention and cross-sell/upsell objectives that collectively make up the Customer Markets view of commercial performance.The Telco Proposition Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of regular telco offers, both ATL and BTL, to achieve the commercial objectives of the Telco business and work closely with the Core Product team and value stream teams to ensure telco propositions are effectively integrated into value stream go-to-market (GTM) roadmaps and campaign activity and bundled with energy offerings to maximise commercial outcomes for both energy and Telco.What you’ll be doing:- Analysing current market position and performance of telco products and identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.-
- Leading the design and execution of targeted activities that drive product performance in market including new products, features and campaigns that create customer value, improve average margin per user (AMPU) & average revenue per user (ARPU), and aligning to the broader commercial strategy.-
- Managing end-to-end product lifecycles and ensuring alight to product simplification ambitions.-
- Utilising data analytics and market trends to forecast demand for product groups and developing recommendations to align to forecasts.-
- Developing and communicating the annual and quarterly telco proposition and offering roadmap aligned with commercial objectives that responds to changing market conditions.-
- Understanding and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements including impact of regulatory changes related to the portfolio.About you:- Experience in Product Management, GTM Management or Proposition Management within the Telecommunications Industry is preferred.-
- Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate challenges, identify opportunities and develop and communicate improvement opportunities.-
- Demonstrated ability to understand and adhere to the legal and regulatory framework in the telecommunications industry and how that impacts development of new products and services.-
- Proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels coupled with excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.-
