We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager with a passion for Propositions to support the business in creating brilliantly connected marketing experiences across Medibank’s customer journeys that result in commercial success and the realisation of our 2030 vision.

This is a newly created permanent role that sits within our Excellence Hub and will be dedicated to supporting our Health Hub Proposition Squad (and other areas of the business) to take new propositions to market. The role will lead the development of the customer health proposition GTM positioning including target customer definition and research, marketing requirement scoping and delivery requirements.

This role will see you:

- Decide if your day is best spent working from home or the office. We don’t go for mandated office attendance here at Medibank, but we will need you to come along to team days and events when they’re on.
- Provide strategic marketing advice and guidance to the Propositions Squad to deliver integrated, customer first experiences.
- Analyse customer and/or business problems to develop propositions and marketing strategies that meet customer needs.
- Embed go to market considerations into the proposition development process.
- Leverage customer insights, market research and competitive intelligence to inform the proposition development and go to market strategy.
- Work with Finance to manage annual marketing forecasting and initiatives planning.
- While this role does not have any direct reports, we are looking for someone who can lead a cross functional team to deliver on an initiative.
- Take some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same - you might grab a takeaway coffee and head out for a walking one on one with a team member, get to the gym for a lunchtime class or block out calendar time to attend to your childs school assembly.

**What** **about you?**

This role would be a perfect match for an experienced and self motivated Senior Marketing Manager with exceptional influencing and proposition development experience, ideally gained in role/s within the service industry (think banks, telco, utilities) but has a passion for health.

You’ll work with a range of stakeholders up to exec level so its critical that you can form solid, constructive working relationships. You won’t have any direct staff management responsibilities but your indirect leadership and influencing skills will be critical for success, along with your ability to unite and motivate teams.

Other must haves for the role include:

- Embedding customer first thinking to ensure proposition meet a customer need an deliver customer and commercial benefits.
- Ability to draw clear insights from multiple data sources and present succinctly to stakeholders.
- Ability to articulate clear strategic recommendations linked to commercial outcomes.
- Experience in the development of customer propositions and go to market implementation.
- Ability to think at a strategic level while overseeing execution at an operational level.
