The Inclusion and Diversity Advisor is a member of Aussie Broadband’s Community Impact team, within the Corporate Affairs function in the People and Reputation function. To join this team and be successful, you will possess:
- A solid understanding of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging field, including latest philosophies, trends and disruptive practices.-
- A personal style that is warm, person-centred and humorous when appropriate.-
- The ability to influence hearts and minds, particularly at the senior management level.-
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to relate to, and work with, people at all levels of the company.-
- Strong personal organisation and program management skills to ensure multiple programs, events and networks are managed effectively. How will you support our why?
- Our Inclusion & Diversity Advisor is critical to the ongoing management and evolution of our innovative approach to inclusion and diversity. Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and delivery of Aussie’s Inclusion & Diversity strategy, that evolves our approach in this space, including working with leaders and staff across the business to build support and implement change.-
- Supporting our I&D special interest working groups and networks, - for example our Aussie Pride Network, our Reconciliation group or our Neurodivergent Network - to ensure they are aligned with the I&D strategic goals.-
- Providing and sharing thought leadership in the latest diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging trends and disruptive practices.-
- Managing participation in inclusion initiatives such as the Australian Workplace Equality Index.-
- Developing and reporting on inclusion targets that are consistent with Aussie’s approach and values.-
- Representing Aussie Broadband with a range of external stakeholders on inclusion and diversity issues.-
- Positively contributing to the Corporate Affairs team and wider People & Reputation function. Ready to join?
