In this role you will be the Product Owner for Product Simplification. You will lead a cross-functional squad responsible driving the strategic review and simplification of the Cards' product construct as we progress the Cards Modernisation Program. Cards Modernisation is a multiyear initiative that looks to build a group wide capability leveraging cloud, rationalising multiple Card platforms, enabling personalisation, resilience and productivity.

We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world's best systems and processes. The Credit Cards Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank Credit Cards business. We consist of squads that look after the development of the credit card products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement.

Leading the Product Simplification Squad, this role in pivotal to the successful delivery of the Cards Modernisation Program. You will report to the Stream Lead for Product & Process Simplification, who will support you with your performance and development. You will play a critical role in simplifying the existing cards' product construct and delivering a roadmap to design a transformational and market leading Cards product proposition.
**Key responsibilities will include**
- **Cards Modernisation Product Strategy**:Design the future state product strategy for Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Prepaid, Corporate and StepPay. Leveraging the Cards Modernisation Program - create, socialise and deliver on business requirements achieve strategic objective
- **Product Simplification**:simplify cards portfolio as we progress the Cards Modernisation Program. Suggest the removal of old products and pricing, consolidate low volume products and streamline card configurations
- **Delivery and Collaboration**:work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, marketing, compliance, technology and distribution to ensure seamless delivery
- **Risk management**: Responsible for proactively managing risks including performance of regular controls, robust product governance, identification of issues, escalation and swift resolution of issues including remediation
- **Compliance**: Ensure that credit card products comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and assist with regulatory responses

- Experience in delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment
- Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- This role will see you working across risk, digital, operations, delivery, card schemes and compliance.
- Experience in product delivery and/or product management
- Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions
- Tertiary qualification in a Business / Commerce Degree Preferred
- Cards product knowledge is required
