Reporting to the Director, Public Affairs and Stakeholders, as our Communications Advisor you will be responsible for assisting with the content and production of communication materials, coordinating tasks to support all manner of campaigns and assisting with tasks such as photo shoots, film shoots and simple design tasks. These tasks will primarily relate to the Western Public Health Unit but you will have the opportunity to develop skills across our fast growing, dynamic and supportive organisation.
You are a self-starter who is prepared to take the initiative and develop ideas, assist with campaign concepts; build relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
You have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work positively and effectively in a team.
Our unit oversees internal and external communication for the organisation, manages all media enquiries and proactive media liaison and supports communication planning for major projects and initiatives across Western Health.
The Western Public Health Unit (WPHU) is a local public health unit that sits within Western Health responsible for the deliverer of public health interventions.
