**About the role - 6 Month Contract**

Reporting to the Data Product Leader - Customer, the Data Product Lead will be responsible for leading and driving the evolution of our strategic data platforms focusing on the Customer & Digital business domains. Responsibilities include:

- Ensure the successful prioritisation, delivery and ongoing support of Enterprise data products enabling better data driven decisions and unlocking business value
- Work with the business to design new data products, enhancements and changes.
- Lead the team, technologies, toolsets, platforms, structure, and processes to maximise opportunities and capabilities for the Customer business units.
- Ensure support is prioritised and requests are responded to within agree SLA’s
- Evangelise the importance, outcomes and value for the data and analytics capabilities
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective use of the enterprise data assets to generate insights and optimise business outcomes.
- Management and Optimisation of cloud costs and supporting FinOps capabilities

**Be Impactful when you are applying**

With an emphasis on DevSecOps, the role is responsible for supporting the team to deliver end-to-end support, security, change management, and uplift of the data platform. You will have some of the following competencies;
- Tertiary Qualification in computer science, information technology, business systems or other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent significant practical experience
- Extensive experience working in or leading Data or Product teams
- Technical experience in managing data cloud platforms and experience in managing major stakeholders
- Experience working in or closely alongside data and analytics teams, including how to design, shape and execute test & learn activities, how to run simulation/scenarios to understand trade-offs/implications, how to value uplift opportunities against “do nothing” scenarios
- Proven background working in a data warehousing and/or analytical environment which may include the use of mathematics, statistics, research or related disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven success in communicating complex analysis across all levels within a business including senior management
