Equipment Sales Specialist

With sales roles as unique as the equipment we carry, our teams range from Business Development to Account Management, After Sales, Product Management, Technical Sales, Equipment Sales, Tender Officers, Sales Managers and Sales Support, in National, State and local territories.
Coming from a variety of backgrounds including trades, services, government, defence, fleet management and technical, Tutt Bryant sales professionals are provided with extensive training from local and international product specialists, supported with internal marketing, product managers and additional resources.
**Equipment Sales Specialist - Bomag Asphalt**:
**General Description of Role**:
This role is responsible for supporting the TBE division, including:
Supporting the branch network in all interactions with clients, projects and jobs, covering aspects of customer relations, sales and marketing. Ensuring a consistent customer-focussed service, a safe and rewarding work environment for employees, and company profitability.
As a key representative of Tutt Bryant Equipment in the region, the role must build a prominent corporate profile through various activities, enhance Tutt Bryant’s reputation and maintain customer confidence in our products and services.
The role would encompass representing and selling all Bomag Asphalt products across TBE NSW Territory and the entire Bomag product range in the greater Sydney area with a focus on major accounts.

**Responsibilities**:
PEOPLE, TEAMWORK & COMMUNICATION
- On an ongoing basis maintain a high customer profile;
- Assist team in stocktakes as required;
- Be prepared to assist other company personnel and business units as required/requested; and
- Participate in any other relevant/appropriate training programs as requested by the company.
SALES
- Client engagement at all relevant levels at the appropriate stages of a project, from early pre-feasibility through to post-execution follow-up to attract, secure and retain business;
- Consultation with State Managers where necessary on tender and contract reviews.
- Ensure customers are prioritized according to their existing or potential trading with the company and schedule customer visits accordingly;
- Keep customers informed of new products and company capabilities;
- Attend Trade Shows as approved by the State Manager;
- Review and monitor customer status ensuring that, where possible, action is taken to improve the level of trading with our company;
- Maintain strong awareness of work opportunities that are available in the market and ensure participation (at least by way of quoting) in all scopes that are within the company’s capabilities, skillset and resources;
- Respond to client enquiries either directly or by co-ordinating with other staff within Tutt Bryant Equipment, including the preparation and submission of quotes and tenders;
- Appraise client requirements by attending site visits, job inspections, and meeting with relevant parties;
- Engage in follow-up sales and support activities to maintain client relationship, attain feedback and address any potential concerns;
- Establish and maintain a detailed client list that is centrally available, comprehensive and up to date;
- Maximise the efforts and opportunities to cross-sell and promote all the products and services from Tutt Bryant Group;
- Actively seek to stay informed with current technology available in the industry; and
- Utilise and manage all CRM functions.
REPORTING
- Ensure timely reporting, feedback and communications are in accordance with established reporting lines; and
- Attend and contribute at meetings, provide periodic management reporting as directed, update on business conditions and outlook.
BUDGETING, PLANNING AND STRATEGY
- Observe and scrutinise project pipeline and competition landscape, together with the swift identification of major adjustments and movements in the market that may impact Tutt Bryant Equipment;
- Focus on new opportunities for the company’s products & services and advise management of changing customer and market requirements;
- Assist the State Manager in business and strategic planning, including but not limited to, preparation of financial budgets, forecasts and plans;
- Review, monitor and analyse demand, pricing, margins, utilisation and other key operational indicators within Tutt Bryant Equipment and in the wider market to determine trends and analyse against targets and set parameters; and
- Develop and establish a structured sales plan to define business development efforts and activities in support of Tutt Bryant Equipment achieving its overall business and sales objectives.
