We are seeking a highly organised Service Technician to join our growing service team to assist in the support, planning, and maintenance of our customers' equipment across various markets.

This is a full-time role with a temporary arrangement that may lead to permanent employment. The position offers training and a vehicle, ensuring you have the necessary tools to excel in your role.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide scheduled and unscheduled servicing and maintenance of high technical standards to our customers' equipment.
  • Prepare and provide service quotations and maintenance agreements to clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Train and educate customer plant operators on safe and correct operation of their equipment, enhancing safety and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed service reports for all service work completed on customer sites, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Continuously enhance your technical knowledge on our products and services through experience and ongoing training, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Identify and secure opportunities on customer sites for business growth, promoting the company's interests and expanding our market presence.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • TAFE (Cert 3) Trade qualifications (or higher) in mechanical disciplines, electrical or other relevant areas.
  • Prior experience in maintenance and repair within the Crushing and Screening sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, a positive attitude, and strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing and following through on all service and reporting requirements.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, be a strong team player, and have a commitment to both individual and team goal achievements.
  • Strong level of interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), combined with excellent time management and coordinating skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Intermediate Computer/Microsoft Office skills.
Estimated Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum
