**About the team**:
Commercial is a large but close-knit group. We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience to every business unit at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. **About the role**:

- Support role sitting within BU Strategy & Commercial Excellence division within the Supplier Management team.
- The role will be responsible for development & implementation of key supplier commercial initiatives.
- Lead Cost Price Alteration (CPA) commercial trade plan analysis negotiations.
- Lead category planning workshops with data driven commercial insights to optimise net profit opportunity.
- Identify key supplier partners and embed strategic collaboration through Joint Business Plans (JBPs), Business Development Plans (BDPs).
- Lead initiatives to drive COGs out improvement in supplier category plans.
- Create and enhance relationships at multiple levels (BCM, SCM, CM) within the wider BU commercial teams to influence and drive commercial outcomes.
- Lead and drive cross functional synergies across BU Strategy & Commercial Excellence team.
- Support the development of data transformation through leveraging technology to transform how we win together.
- People leadership with 1 direct report

**About you and your skills**:

- FMCG/Retail industry experience (5+ years)
- Proven experience National Business Manager in the FMCG industry
- Proven experience Category Manager in the retail environment
- Advanced Business & Financial acumen, ability to interpret Profit & Loss Statement
- Advanced proficiency in using excel, PowerPoint and analytical tools
- Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior business stakeholders
- Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships
- Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Proven people leadership experience
