**Your Opportunity**

This newly created opportunity has been implemented to support our growing Fundraising team The role will have a focus on developing a portfolio of long term, sustainable and mutually beneficial opportunities with Major Donors, Corporate Partners, and Trusts and Foundations to increase the pipeline for our Partnerships Managers.

As the Prospect Researcher you will proactively increase the prospect pool through the development, implementation and execution of a prospect pipeline and identification approach, encompassing individuals, corporations, foundations, and trusts.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- Conduct research, both reactively and proactively, on individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporates
- Determine gift capacity estimates for major gift supporters and prospects using available wealth indicators
- Actively support the identification and verification of new prospects discovered through database searches and other proactive resources
- Recommend prospects and engagement strategy of quality prospects to your internal customers
- Test and implement a prospect scoring model and develop standardised research and briefing templates
- Enhance the supporter and prospect data in CRM with updated career, wealth, relationship, and other information
- Deliver research briefings and profiles to Partnerships Managers and other relevant team members

**Requirements for Success**
- Experience in prospect identification, research, and analysis, and working as part of a fundraising or sales team
- Have a good understanding of wealth indicators, including income (estimated or public) and assets
- Interest in and curiosity for, fundraising and development best-practice, capable of exercising discretion where required
- High-level written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Keen interest to up-skill and consistently grow fundraising knowledge - professional development opportunities are available and encouraged
- Experience using a CRM and reporting platforms (working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Marketo, PowerBi, or similar programs is highly regarded)
- Experience in a similar role with an ambition to drive philanthropic success through prospect research, data analysis and strategic acumen
